FROST was brought to life by three black souls in the year 1994. Since then the bandīs line-up hasnīt changed: Damian (Vocals & Guitars), Volker (Bass) and Timo (Drums).
FROST stands for brutal, dark and cold black metal. The music is raw, fast and devastating without any keyboards destroying the mighty sounds. The lyrics are about the dark side of the human race, Death, occult scenes and neo-satanic thoughts. Political influences are not a part of the music of FROST. FROST walks the path of traditional black metal and no kind of political racism belongs to this/their music.


In the winter 96/97 the first demo "Emperor of Darkness" was released. The tape, which contains seven songs, was recorded on 8-Tracks using own initiative. Throughout the underground this demo received a positive echo. And in loads of mags FROST had very good critiques.


At the end of 1998 the second demo was released. "Infernal Resurrection"contains three songs. The material was immortalised at a 24-Tracks studio with the help of Art Audio. This second work is extremely faster and more aggressive than the first and definitely shows a musical development. Although the underground shows positive reactions about the second demo a label-contract wasnīt found.


Now, 2001 after two years the wait is over. FROST released the debut-CD "Dark Possession". The recording was done at the professional "Blue Rooms Studio"in Hamburg. Without the help of a record-label own capital was used for the production. The disc contains 6 songs and one intro with a playtime of 30 minutes. The printed booklet shows all lyrics. Again FROST shows a musical and technical development. On the one hand the songs are very fast but one the other hand some slower songs were recorded, too.


In cooperation with the label "Third Alliance Records" FROST released a split-CD together with the band FROSTMOON ECLIPSE in the end of 2002. Both bands recorded three new songs and an intro. The musical Apocalypse takes 29 min. The whole CD stands for hateful Black Metal without any compromises.
To make things complete the booklet contains all lyrics.


2004 the spanish lable SCREAM RECORDS re-released the two demos "Emperor Of Darkness" and "Infernal Resurrection" on one CD. The CD contains no new material - only the old stuff. On the CD are the old recordings of pure fucking Black Metal like on the old tapes. The release is limited to 200 copies. FROST had done a new artwork for the CD. The CD is only availiable at Scream Records in Spain. Since 1997 FROST has enchanted their fans with a lot of cold and dark gigs. FROST using warpaint and spikes to promote their music on stage. This traditional elements support their extreme kind of music very good.
